Dr. Laura Solis Garza

I studied veterinary medicine at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (AVMA accredited) and graduated with honors in 2022. I worked for 2 years in the veterinary faculty, teaching microbiology and working in the Biosafety Lab while I was preparing my thesis. I decided to come to Canada to explore a new country and culture. I joined this amazing team in November 2023.

My passion in the veterinary field comes from my family. When I was a kid, I used to work with my dad in the ranch and being in close contact with nature and the animals made me realize it was something I wanted to dedicate my life. Since then, my goal is to keep learning and improving my skills to give my patients the best care.

I am also a certified peaceful euthanasia veterinarian (CPEV) and my areas of interest are dentistry and soft tissue surgery.

In my spare time, I enjoy biking for long hours, hiking new trails or reading classic’s. I am the Aunt of 2 Mexican dogs, a Jack Russel named Milo and a 14 year old Beagle named Dona
