Tip to Spring Forward with Your Pets

Daylight savings time is a hard time for all of us, including our furry furiends. They just don’t understand why their schedule has changed. Here are 3 simple tips on how to easily spring forward with your pets:

1. Start slow and early. Wake them up 10 to 15 minutes earlier each day, starting five days before the big day. They’ll probably still notice the change, although it’ll be easier on them.
2. Spend more time with your furiends. You should allow for extra walks and maybe an extra treat or two during the first few days. This will also help with their eating and eliminating schedule change adjustment.
3. Change it up. Dogs and cats can become comfortable with a routine if allowed. If you vary routine activities like meal and walks, they will learn to be more adaptable and less stressed when things happen to upset their routine.
